Journey's standard four-wheel antilock disc brake system (ABS) with brake assist, helps prevent wheel lockup for shorter stopping distances and improved control under extreme braking or slippery conditions. Brake assist helps the driver overcome a common tendency to not apply the brakes hard enough or quick enough during an emergency stop by using the maximum available pressure to the brakes.
