Motability is the UK's leading car scheme for disabled people. Since it was set up by the government in 1977, it has helped to provide millions of people with affordable, convenient, trouble-free motoring. There are three schemes to choose from - contract hire, hire purchase for new vehicles and hire purchased for used vehicles.
